The amount that the friend needed was 'just' 100,000.00 Euros, according to him, for an operation for a relative abroad. Our Customer mortgaged a house with a bank (sorry, I cannot name it due to confidentiality), for which he received 100,000.00 Euros, which can be said he either borrowed or, as in this case, 'gifted' to a 'wonderful friend.' At the moment, our Customer lives in a rented apartment with partial amenities. The house, for which he was unable to repay the loan on time, was taken by the bank! The saddest part of this story is that the debtor, after receiving €100,000.00, disappeared from our Customer's sight and, according to possible information, is abroad. According to the creditor: "I couldn’t have acted differently, because he was the first to rush to me in the hospital when disaster struck." Being sentimental is wonderful and admirable, but gentlemen, don’t lose Your head trying to help someone! Assess the situation soberly so that You won’t have to spend the rest of Your life paying off a debt for such a 'friend'! There are many such examples! There is a positive aspect in this story: Our Customer concluded a loan agreement with the debtor, at least some sort of precaution!
