But in this article I would like to tell a little about the tactics of “fraudsters” Who gain trust and Why they are trusted, pawning real estate and jewelry in a pawnshop in order to save a “good person,” a “friend.”
An ordinary Person, Who is not capable of deceiving or taking advantage of the trust of others, is not always, and often simply cannot, recognize dishonest thoughts or self-interest in a “wonderful” Person, because his actions prove the exact opposite. Namely, he tries to stay close to the intended victim, provide support in difficult situations, listen in time, be an excellent psychologist at any time of the day, and, if necessary, be the first to fly to save his victim. One of the Customers of the Riga Detective Agency, having told us his story, said that as soon as He was admitted to the hospital, a friend he had recently met rushed to him and began offering any help he could ...how could he refuse to lend money to such a "wonderful man" after that? The amount his friend needed was "only" 100,000.00 Euros, according to him, for an operation for a relative abroad. Our Customer mortgaged a house to a bank (sorry, I can't give the name due to confidentiality reasons), for which he received 100,000.00 Euros, one might say, he lent it or, as in this case, "gave" it to a "wonderful friend."
Our Customer currently lives in a rented apartment with limited amenities. The house, for which he failed to make timely loan payments, was repossessed by the bank!
The saddest part of this story is that the debtor, having received €100,000.00, has disappeared from our Customer's sight and is believed to be abroad.
In the words of the creditor: "I couldn't have done otherwise, after all, he was the first one to rush to the hospital when the trouble happened." Being sentimental is all well and good, but gentlemen, don't lose your head trying to help someone! Assess the situation soberly, so You don't have to spend the rest of Your life paying off a debt for such a "friend"!
There are so many examples like this! And I really want to help normal People whose trust was taken advantage of and simply cheated!
There's a silver lining to this story: Our Customer signed a loan agreement with the debtor, which at least provides some insurance! But how many examples are there of money being lent on trust, without receipts or contracts?! It's difficult to help in such cases, it's pity!
